Box Office Beat: 'Ice Age: Continental Drift'

It may be hot outside, but this weekend you’ll want to bundle up if you’re headed to the theaters. ‘Ice Age: Continental Drift’ is landing on the big screen today!

Scrat has been on the lookout for the cursed acorn since the dawn of time.  Leave it to the little guy to create a literal Earth-shattering cataclysm!  With the lands now adrift, Manny (Ray Romano), Diego (Dennis Leary), and Sid (John Leguizamo) must fight their way through pirates, sirens, and other perils.  Will our heroes ever see their family and loved ones again?  And more importantly, will Scrat ever make it to his acorn paradise?

The fourth installment of the ‘Ice Age’ franchise is looking like the biggest one yet!  Some familiar actors are lending their voices to the film’s characters.  Nickelodeon favorite Josh Peck is returning as Eddie, and ‘Rags’ star Keke Palmer will be voicing Peaches, Manny’s teenage daughter in the middle of some boy issues.

We can’t wait to join the crew and check out ‘Ice Age: Continental Drift’ in theaters today.  If it means more hilarity with our favorite characters, we’re totally in!
