Box Office Beat: Brave

This weekend, join Disney and Pixar as they journey into the past for their 13th animated feature film, ‘Brave.’

Young Merida is not like other princesses.  Instead of taking on the role of the tame, well-mannered, lady-like princess we’re traditionally used to, Merida is a bold character who wants nothing more than to go out on adventures and shoot her bow.  Queen Elinor does not approve of this, and the relationship between mother and daughter runs sour because of their differences.  On the night that Merida is supposed to choose a suitor, she runs into the woods in search of a way to change her fate.

What will become of Merida and her family when she stumbles across an old witch that promises she can give her a new destiny?  Find out this weekend in ‘Brave,’ the latest movie from Disney/Pixar.  We got a sneak preview of ‘Brave,’ and we were swept away by the gorgeous visuals, the stunning soundtrack, and each character that took on a quirk of their own.  This is definitely one you’ll want to see with the family.
