Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) is a teenager juggling his school life, dealing with his crush on Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone), and finding out what his parents were like and what they were working on before they left him forever.

Of course, everything is flipped once an accidental spider bite lands him extraordinary powers.  Now with the strength of a human-sized spider, the ability to cling to walls, and some gadgetry of his own, Peter is facing some all new challenges as well.  Such as, what do you do when a giant lizard monster (Rhys Ifans) is rampaging in downtown New York?
