Bing and DoSomething Team up for the Summer of Doing

Last week, the search engine Bing and DoSomething.org kicked off the Bing Summer of Doing with a day of service attended by some of the biggest celebs out there!

The day of service took place at the Heart of Los Angeles (HOLA) where volunteers of DoSomething.org painted several new murals, restored the rec room area of the school, and provided them with a new garden.  To top it all off, the bathrooms received a fresh coat of paint to spruce them up.  With all of these changes, HOLA ended up looking a lot better at the end of the day, and wound up being a great start to the Summer of Doing. 

Involved with the event was former Disney star Hilary Duff who recently became a mom.  She found this a perfect chance to help out a community in need.  Others in attendance were Nickelodeon’s ‘Rags’ star Keke Palmer, Tinsel Korey of Twilight, Ryan Ochoa who just celebrated his 16th birthday, and Cody Simpson was there to provide the crowds with some awesome entertainment.

With all of those stars and more coming out to help improve the community, we think this summer is the perfect one to make the first Summer of Doing!
