The first day of school seems far away for now, but it will be here sooner than you think. And when it comes along, you’ll need to be prepared with all of the supplies.
Unfortunately for many kids, they won’t be able to return to school this fall with the necessary tools. Thankfully, DoSomething.org is teaming up with Staples to provide students with the supplies they need to succeed in class. To kick start the Staples for Students campaign, Staples will be donating $125,000 worth of supplies to the program in 2012!
During the campaign, Staples customers can get involved and donate $1 or more to any Staples store. All of the proceeds will directly benefit local students who don’t have the means to purchase school supplies and further their education. In the video below, ‘Shake It Up’ star Bella Thorne illustrates the nature of the campaign and urges you to help out this awesome movement. Every student deserves a proper education, and we think this is the an awesome chance to help provide them with a huge opportunity.
