Fanlala: When did you first start singing? What was your first performance?

Lil' Eddie: I first started singing at the age of 10 yrs old I auditioned for the New York boys choir and discovered I had a voice. 2 months later I was singing backup with the choir at the Billboard awards for Michael Bolton, Hootie & the Blowfish, Stevie Wonder, Coolio etc.

F: Which do you like more singing or songwriting?

L.E.: They go hand and hand for me.

F: What your favorite song that you've written? Why?

L.E.: It's hard to pick a favorite song from the songs I've written. I feel as if my favorite songs haven't been written yet.

F: Describe your sound? Who are your music inspirations?

L.E.: I am Newurican that means Puerto Rican but raised in New York. I grew up in Spanish Harlem, being Latino I listened to many different kinds of music such as Stevie Wonder, Marc Anthony, Biggie Smalls, Ella Fitzgerald and Britney Spears. My likes are a fusion of many different styles and genres.

F: What’s the best advice you’ve been given?

L.E.: Here are a few that stuck with me: "Success moves in silence." "Stand for something or fall for everything." "It has to rain in order for flowers to grow."

F: What can we expect from you in the future?

L.E.: You can expect many more great music. I’ve worked with K’naan, JoJo, Cody Simpson, and Lahla Hathaway. I’ve also worked recently with Greyson Chance, Pink, and Nelly Furtado. Currently I’m creating another album.

F: What’s a hidden talent that you have?

L.E.: I’m an actor and have been studying the craft for some time now.

F: Besides singing, what do you like to do?

L.E.: I'm pretty much a normal guy. I love to watch movies and enjoy a good meal (The way to my heart is through my stomach lol.) I love fashion, Reality TV, and a great laugh.

F: If you could go on tour with any musician(s) alive or dead, who would it be and why?

L.E.: Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Donny Hathaway, Ella Fitzgerald, and Biggie Smalls. These artists not only created today's sound, but inspired music around the world. Also Lady Gaga because she is amazing.

F: What 3 things can you not live without?

L.E.: 1. GOD
