American Idol's Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery Headed to the Finale

There's only week left of American Idol. Can you believe it? The top three visited their hometowns on Wednesday’s pre-elimination show. Lauren, Haley, and Scotty showed us a glimpse of where they grew up, their high schools, and their new fans. However, it was Scotty McCreery who got the surprise of a lifetime during his visit to Garner, North Carolina. Josh Turner, the author of "Your Man,” which Scotty calls his theme song, surprised him and performed the hit with him.

On the American Idol stage, Ill Volo, the Italian tenor group captivated America while Nicole Scherzinger and 50 Cent also stopped by the show to perform their newest hit. 

Last but not least, Beyonce showed off her new dance moves premiering her video for "Run the World (Girls)" Wednesday night. She looked beautiful in a variety of crazy fun costumes in the music video. 

Yet this week turned out to be a bad week for Haley Reinhart, elimination-wise, as America said their goodbyes to her on Thursday's show. 

In the youngest finale in American Idol history, teenagers Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery will return to sing their hearts out in an attempt to be voted the next American Idol. Crowned the best performers in the competition by devoted voters who cast them to perform week after week, the two are thrilled to be American Idol's Top 2.
