All About Olympic Diver Kristian Ipsen

Kristian Ipsen is an Olympic diver who will be competing in the 2012 London Olympic Games for the USA.

A Bay Area resident, Kristian currently attends Stanford University and participated on their 2011 Diving team. At age eight, he finaled on all three boards at Junior Nationals in 2001. In 2003, he won a junior national title, becoming the youngest diver to do this. He is a 6-time Junior National Champion, eight-time senior national champion and three-time junior world champion. In this year's Olympics he will be competing with 3m synchro partner Troy Dumais. Last year, he won the US National Championship in the senior men 3m springboard event. With partner Troy Dumais he also won UCLA's 3m springboard competition at the Spieker Aquatic Center.
