The Troop Bio

  • “The Troop” is a Nickelodeon show about a comic book loving teen named Jake (Nicholas Purcell). After his school counselor recruits him for a secret society known as “The Troop,” Jake joins up with Hayley (Gage Golightly), the most popular girl in school, and Felix (David Del Rio), the nerdiest kid in school, to form a powerful trio and protect the world from monsters!

    The character of "Jake" (played by Nick Purcell) is named after Max Burnett's (one of the creators of the Troop) son.

    During shooting, the cast and crew would play a game of baseball during their lunch breaks!

    Gage Golightly is afraid of the dark and sleeps with a lava lamp!

    David Del Rio may play a nerdy teen on the show, but in real life he loves to play the acoustic guitar and loves to salsa dance!
