Bio

“Good Luck Charlie” is a family friendly comedy by Disney that makes babysitting a newborn quite a hilarious task! When mom, Amy (Leigh-Allyn Baker), gives birth to newborn Charlie, the family must pull together and help babysit the little tyke. Dad, Bob (Eric Allan Kramer), works all day and Mom goes back to work as a night time nurse, giving Teddy (Bridgit Mendler), PJ (Jason Dolley), and Gabe (Bradley Steven Perry) lots of babysitting responsibilities. The show follows the family through the hilarious hardships of watching over a youngster, especially one that can grab and cause some terrible destruction!

The shows creators wanted to create a program that would appeal to entire families rather than simply kids.

The show was originally titled, "Love, Teddy."

Cute little Charlie’s name was originally "Daisy" during development, but executives thought "Charlie", usually a boy's name, might attract more boys.

The creators wanted to hire twins to play baby Charlie so that they could substitute the babies between scenes, however they’re search turned up empty and they cast Mia Talerico, who they claim is the most obedient actor they’ve ever worked with!
