All-American girl rock band, KSM consists of lead singer Shelby Cobra, lead guitarist Shae Padilla, guitarist Katie Cecil, drummer Kate Cabebe and bassist Sophia Melon. They all joined together and formed their band back in 2006 and gained popularity in the summer of 2009. They covered the song “I Want You To Want Me” by Cheap Trick, which was used to promote the ABC Family series, 10 Things I Hate About You. In 2009, they toured as an opening act for Disney recording artists the Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato and Mitchel Musso. It was in early 2010 that the girls of KSM went their own ways.

The girls came up with their name “KSM” by combining their first-name initials and the word music.
The Go-Go's were the girls mentor!
Their hit song “Distracted" appeared on Radio Disney Jams 11.
