Cody Simpson grew up watching his father play guitar and sing to friends and family at parties and barbecues so it’s no wonder Cody started playing the guitar as well. At the age of 7, he started learning how to play guitar. By 12, he started up his own YouTube page and began posting videos of himself singing some of his fave songs by his musical inspirations. As of now, his YouTube channel has 4.5 million views and more than 42,000 subscribers. In 2009, Cody was contacted by songwriter and producer Shawn Campbell via YouTube. In April 2010, Cody singed to Atlantic Records and released his debut single “iYiYi” featuring Flo Rida. Cody is currently in the recording studio working on his debut album!
