started his acting career back at the age of 15 with guest-starring roles in shows like the classic, ER, followed later that year by guest-starring roles on Judging Amy, Summerland, and Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide. With his love for acting, after graduating from High School, Carlos made his way to Boston Conservatory were he studied music and not to long after was urged by his manager to audition for Big Time Rush, which he later submitted a tape and won the role one month later!
