Bio

Although Alexa Vega has been acting since she was a youngster, most fans remember her best from her action packed role as Cameron Cortez in the Spy Kids films. Since playing an extremely brave spy, Alexa has gotten to experience the big city lights by performing on the Broadway stage in the super popular musical, Hairspray! After that, Alexa gained fame playing the sweetheart, Ruby, in the ABC Family sitcom, Ruby and the Rockits, which was taken off-air in 2009.

Alexa is another Fanlala fave signed to Hollywood Records and has released multiple singles for the Spy Kids films, along with a song for Repo! The Genetic Opera. You can also hear Alexa singing on the ABC film Santa Baby 2: Christmas Maybe, or the Walt Disney Record's album, "Songs to Celebrate 25 Days of Christmas."

Talk about a full house! Alexa has three older sisters, Margaux, Krizia and Makenzie, one half-sister, Greylin, and two half-brothers, Jet and Cruz.

Alexa is half-Columbian and is fluent in Spanish.

What a daredevil! Alexa performed a lot of her own stunts in all three of the Spy Kids films.

In her off-time Alexa loves to do gymnastics and freshwater fish.

Alexa has a lot of admirers! At 15, she placed fourth in the hottest female teen stars in February 2004.

What a SWEET Sixteenth birthday! Alexa received a Range Rover from the director of one of her films, Spy Kids (2001).

Alexa got her first kiss when she was 13 on the set of Spy Kids 2: Island of Lost Dreams (2002).

We hear wedding bells! In 2009, Alexa got engaged to her producer boyfriend, Sean Covel.
