Bio

Camp Rock is about a young girl Mitchie Torres (Demi Lovato) with a passion for singing. Mitchie is desperate to attend a special summer camp for singers and dancers called “Camp Rock.”

While at camp, Mitchie’s voice catches the attention of the popular, but bratty camper Shane Gray (Joe Jonas). Shane is, at first, unaware of who the girl is behind the voice, but once he finds out, sparks fly!

In Camp Rock 2, the sequel, Mitchie can’t wait for her brand new summer at Camp Rock with the gang, but the fun seems to stop when the campers realize there is a new, rival Camp across the lake. The devoted Camp Rockers notice that a lot of the campers have left Camp Rock in the dust and enrolled in Camp Star for the summer. The rival continues all summer long, until eventually there is a final battle between the two camps!

Fanlala Fun Facts:

In one scene Joe Jonas is running and accidentally trips during the shoot, instead of re-shooting the scene, the director keeps his clumsy fall in the movie!

During Mitchie's solo “This is Me” in the first “Camp Rock,” The Jonas Brothers' and Demi Lovato's parents were in the crowd.

The movie was originally titled, “Rock Camp Rules,” “Camp Rock On,” before finally settling on “Camp Rock.”

Chloe Bridges, who plays Dana in this “Camp Rock 2,” was up for the part of Mitchie in the original movie, but the part went to Demi instead.
